Supply, Delivery, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Machine
Description
MMUH invites sealed bids from eligible, qualified, and competent suppliers/manufacturers for the supply, delivery, installation, testing, commissioning, and after-sales support of one (1) Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) system, complete with all necessary accessories, ancillary equipment, and site preparation requirements. The scope includes user training for radiology and biomedical engineering staff, a comprehensive warranty period, and a service/maintenance agreement. Interested bidders should possess a valid manufacturer's authorization or be an authorized distributor, along with a proven track record of similar installations in Kenya or the East Africa region.
Eligibility
Bidders must: Be a manufacturer or an authorized distributor/agent with a valid manufacturer's authorization letter for the specific MRI brand/model offered Hold a valid Certificate of Incorporation/Business Registration and Tax Compliance Certificate (KRA) Provide evidence of at least 3 similar MRI installations completed within the last 5 years, with reference contacts Demonstrate availability of local service/support presence in Kenya, including spare parts and biomedical engineering support Be registered with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board / relevant medical devices regulatory body where applicable Provide a bid security/bid bond as specified in the tender document Not be debarred from public procurement (if this is a public/county facility)
