The Orthopaedic Technology Department at Mama Margaret Uhuru Hospital provides specialised, patient-centred services in the assessment, design, fabrication, fitting and maintenance of prosthetic and orthotic devices, and of other supportive assistive devices, for people with physical disabilities and conditions affecting movement and function. Customised solutions and follow-up help improve mobility, function, comfort, independence and quality of life.
