The nursing service departments transitions from general healthcare delivery to managing highly specialized high volume clinical care. There is a nursing service manager who directs the hospital entire nursing team and aligns nursing protocols with national guidelines.
OUR NURSING SERVICES
The nursing department provides nursing services across various hospital units, including;
Surgical and Perioperative Services;
Pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative nursing care. Maternal and new-born services: Antenatal, labour and delivery, and postnatal and new-born nursing care.
Outpatient services:
Patient assessment, treatment, health education, and follow-up care. Inpatient services: Comprehensive nursing care, monitoring, treatment, and recovery support for admitted patients.
Paediatrics services:
Specialized nursing care for infants, children and adolescents
Emergency and critical care nursing;
Prompt assessment, stabilization, monitoring, and management of patients requiring urgent and critical care. Infection prevention and control
Implementation of infection and control measures to protect patients, healthcare workers, and visitors.
